Actively seeking family physicians interested in a community family medicine practice which could include obstetrics, in-patient care and/or weekend hospitalist at the Ross Memorial Hospital located in Lindsay, Ontario
Opportunities are available to join the City of Kawartha Lakes Family Health Organization (CKL FHO) by beginning a new practice, or accepting the practice of a retiring physician, in a variety of locations in the City of Kawartha Lakes (Lindsay, Fenelon Falls, Omemee). Area is eligible for Income Stabilization. The CKL FHO consists of 19 physicians located throughout the area and is supported by a strong Family Health Team (https://cklfamilyhealthteam.com/). There is a variety of clinic space available and opportunities for privileges at the Ross Memorial Hospital (https://rmh.org/).
Qualifications and Skills Required
Doctor of Medicine (MD) with registration, or eligibility for registration, in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), Certification, or eligible for certification, by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC), Current CMPA membership in good standing (or eligibility for), Experience with chronic disease management, mental health and marginalized populations considered an asset, Demonstrated commitment to community-based primary care, health equity and patient-centred practice, Strong communication, clinical reasoning, organization skills and working as a team member
