Help our Unattached patients! Non-Urgent FFS clinic for patients without family physicians, same day or next day appointments at 2 locations. PFHT Connect Clinic. Excellent opportunity for trying out our community, sliding into retirement, or just trying out family medicine as a new grad. Set your days, hours and schedule. The FHT Connect Clinic is a solution for the unattached population to receive timely access to primary care and a means for FHO physicians to streamline patient enrollment.

Scheduling

• Average MD Encounters/Day: 34.7
• Same/next day bookings
• Exam Rooms & Charting Space Support
• 1 dedicated RPN per site
• 1 admin per site
• Inbox management options provided if working <1d/wk and while on vacation

RPN Tasks

The RPN has the ability to work to full scope within the MD's outlined expectations. The primary responsibilities include:

• Administering vaccinations
• Conducting triage assessments, taking initial histories
• Reviewing inboxes for urgent results
• Following up on results as instructed by the MD

Locations

Peterborough - King Street: 2-3 exam rooms per physician, Shared charting room

Peterborough - George Street: 2-3 exam rooms per physician, No separate charting room

EMR & Overhead

• Telus PS Suite EMR
• Overhead FFS billings
• Billing agent supplied by PFHT
• PFHT provides all equipment/staff
• 10% overhead charge per month (based on billings)

Equipment Supplied

FHT Connect Clinic strives to accommodate MD requests for specific equipment while maintaining fiscal responsibility within a limited budget. The clinic is currently equipped for joint injections, suture removals, and small biopsies.
