I live and work in the City of Peterborough, Ontario, a mid-sized community with a regional hospital and a wide range of opportunities for physicians.
My primary focus is family medicine and primary care recruitment, and I work closely with Medical Affairs at Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) to connect physicians with additional areas of practice interest, including Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist Medicine, Palliative Care, OR Assist and other focused practice opportunities.
Peterborough is also an active teaching community, with opportunities for both undergraduate and postgraduate medical learners, including electives, observerships, research and other scholarly projects.
My background is in medical education, including more than a decade working with family medicine learners and experience in curriculum development. This gives me a strong understanding of the different stages of medical training and the pathways physicians may take as they move from learner to independent practice.
Whether you are looking for a permanent practice, locum experience, additional training exposure, or simply want to learn more about practicing and living in Peterborough, I am happy to help you explore the opportunities available in our community.
