About the Kinmount & District Health Centre
The KDHC is a bright, spacious and well-resourced health centre in the Village of Kinmount. Kinmount is located at the intersection of the City of Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton County and Peterborough County. It is a two-hour drive north-east of Toronto. The area is a popular tourist destination with a myriad of outdoor activities in all seasons. KDHC is supported by the Kinmount and District Health Services Foundation.
The Health Centre is over 650 square metres (7,000 square feet). The Physicians’ offices are well equipped to carry out examinations. A modern, fully equipped procedure room is available onsite for use by medical staff for minor surgical procedures, diagnostic purposes, musculoskeletal joint and soft tissue injections. The software used for Patient Management is Accuro EMR along with Ocean.
A U.K. physician who moved to KDHC in early 2023, is willing to provide advice and share experiences of relocating and working in Kinmount.

Terms of Employment: Full-time. KDHC are seeking to hire a Family Physician willing to give a four-year commitment with a goal of long-term involvement. 40 hours per week is required to qualify for the Northern and Rural Recruitment and Retention Initiative (NRRRI).
Salary: Comprehensive Care Model (CCM) with an annual salary range of above $300,000 and the possibility to create a Family Health Organization (FHO) or join a current FHO
