2nd Hospitalist Needed | Oct 17 -23

Blanche River Health is seeking a second hospitalist from Saturday, October 17 to Friday, October 23 at our Kirkland Lake site!

Our Kirkland Lake site in Kirkland Lake, Ontario features 41 medical/surgical beds including 4 ICU beds and 2 step-down beds.

About This Locum Opportunity

• Saturday to Friday 0800-1600
• Team of 2 hospitalists with on call rotations
• Average of 30-35 patients (~15 each)
• $10,000/Week + FFS Billing

Due to being in a rural environment, you would ideally have experience with the following skills:

• Intubations
• Central Lines
• Thoracentesis
• Paracentesis

Blanche River Health uses Meditech Expanse. Not familiar with Expanse? No problem! We would be happy to arrange for one of our trainers to help guide you.

What You Bring to Our Team

• Licensed to practice as a Physician in Ontario and in good standing with the CPSO
• Demonstrated ability to provide professional, caring approach with patients, public, department staff, fellow physicians, staff from other departments and other institutes and agencies

Ideally, you would hold the following certifications:

• ACLS

• PALS

• NRP
