Position Summary

Hamilton Urban Core Community Health Centre (HUCCHC) is looking for a family physician to support the Refugee Health services through the Centre's specialized Refugee Transition Clinic. The successful candidate would be available as soon as possible, to fill a 0.5 FTE vacancy for up to six months. The opportunity offers flexible scheduling over Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

Seeing approximately 10-12 patients per 7-hour workday, the physician can expect the average appointment length will be 30 minutes with the exception of instances where a cultural interpreter is engaged or when home visits, examinations and/or procedures require more time.

The successful candidate can expect $131.42 - $149.21 per hour, as well as benefits such as pension, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and on-site parking.
