Overview
Lake of the Woods District Hospital (LWDH), in partnership with Kenora Chiefs Advisory (KCA), is seeking locum Pediatricians to join a newly developed and collaborative pediatric program serving Kenora and surrounding Indigenous communities. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team and shape a growing service in a community-focused environment.
Practice Highlights
- Comprehensive Scope: Inpatient and outpatient care, ED consultations, and community outreach.
- Collaborative Scheduling: Rotating clinic and on-call schedules developed with the Service Lead.
- Program Development: Involvement in shaping services, including community clinics and inpatient care.
- Travel: Fleet vehicles provided for outreach to KCA communities; travel time (drive in/out) is included within your 8hr day.

Requirements
- Licensed (or eligible for) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- CMPA Coverage
- Entitled to work in Canada
- Pediatric certification (FRCPC or equivalent)
- Experience working with Indigenous communities is an asset
