Lake of the Woods District Hospital is seeking locum and full-time support in General Surgery for one current vacancy. We have various locum dates available throughout the year and are actively growing our locum pool to support both short-term and recurring coverage.

You will be joining a collaborative and experienced surgical team with strong anesthesia and perioperative support.
Lake of the Woods District Hospital is a full-service teaching hospital serving Northwestern Ontario.
Our two General Surgeons provide a broad range of full-scope general surgery procedures and are the sole providers of endoscopy services for the region.
Note: C-sections are performed by GP-obstetricians. General Surgeons are not required to provide obstetrical coverage.
Additional clinical and administrative support is available to ensure safe, efficient practice.
Located just 2.5 hours from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Kenora is the largest healthcare centre in Northwestern Ontario outside of Thunder Bay.
Kenora offers a unique balance of high-acuity rural practice and general surgery basics.
