Emergency Medicine (FT/PT/Locum)

Overview

Clinton Public Hospital is recruiting physicians interested in providing Full, Part Time or Locum ED coverage.

Position Details

• Shifts are scheduled for a 24 hour period
• 0800-2200 is paid at the AFA rate of $180-$190/hour, depending on weekday/weekend
• The Emergency Department is closed at 2000 with last registration at 1800
• Physicians are compensated for their work overnight covering the inpatient unit at a rate of $500-$550 (weekday/weekend)
• Local daily ED back up is available/scheduled
• Physicians travelling from out of town may wish to cover consecutive shifts, which is very manageable
• A comfortable, fully furnished one bedroom suite is available

About Clinton Public Hospital

Clinton Public Hospital is a 20 bed well equipped hospital with a bed mix of Medicine and CCC. Clinton Public Hospital is part of the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance, which also includes; Seaforth Community, St Marys Memorial and Stratford General Hospitals. The four-hospital Alliance is located in beautiful Southwestern Ontario. There is strong specialty support available through colleagues at Stratford General Hospital, approximately 45 minutes away. The hospital provides on site specialty clinics in allergy, paediatrics, surgery and internal medicine.
