Full Time Anesthesiologist

Overview

The Department of Anesthesia at Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) is recruiting! HPHA includes 11 Anesthesiologists: 6 FRCPC & 1 FM/A working at the Stratford site. 4 FM/A working at the Clinton site. The Anesthesiology Department covers the Operating Rooms, Obstetrical Services and Preoperative work, including; ~11,000 elective surgeries/year. ~ 676 hip/knee arthroplasty surgeries/year. ~1200 deliveries/year including 350-400 C-sections (Level 2 NICU). ~300 pediatric cases/year.

Facility Details

Stratford General Hospital is a 120+ bed hospital and the regional referral centre for Huron & Perth counties. The ED is staffed by FRCPC and EM physicians and sees 35,000+ patients/year. The Stratford site provides critical (8 bed closed ICU) and neonatal intensive care units, maternal child, medical and surgical inpatient services, telemetry/stroke (district stroke centre), mental health, complex continuing care and rehabilitation inpatient services. Surgical specialties include; General, Orthopedics, Urology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, ENT, Plastics and Ophthalmology.
