Renfrew Victoria Hospital (RVH) is a fully accredited, 55-bed hospital located in Renfrew, Ontario, 45 minutes west of Ottawa.
RVH has 450 staff and a robust surgical program with two fully equipped surgical suites, run in partnership with The Ottawa Hospital, including cases for general surgery, gynaecology, urology, ENT, surgical oncology and endoscopy. We are connected to The Ottawa Hospital (TOH) and many other hospitals in the region with EPIC EMR. As part of our surgical expansion in partnership with TOH, we are currently looking for part-time or
locum FRCP or GP-Anaesthetists to join our team.
• Currently, the OR runs every weekday (case days and scopes)
• FFS + HOCC
• Brand new Aisys gas machines
• Onsite CT, US, blood bank, as well as glidescopes, hi flow O2, Bipap, Vents for transfer
• Optional turn-key office in new professional building on hospital campus; FHO opportunities; ER, LTC, palliative care, hospitalist may be available
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, education and experience:
• Family Practice (Anaesthesia) or FRCP(C) welcome
• ACLS, ATLS
• Independently licensed to practice medicine in Ontario
New grads welcome.
